PRP
'Platelet Rich Plazma’

'Platelet Rich Plasma' (PRP); It is based on the repair of cells by platelets in the blood. Platets in the blood are the first repair cells that respond when blood comes into contact with air. They stop bleeding by ensuring clotting and form a protective layer in that area. When the crust falls off, it appears that new skin formation is complete.

What is anti-aging with PRP?

PRP; It is the application of plasma enriched in terms of platelets. It is the process of separating the blood taken into special gel tubes and injecting the plasma with increased platelet concentration back into the skin tissue. The main effect of PRP is to stimulate the body's own stem cells.

Apart from skin rejuvenation, PRP is also used to accelerate the body's healing process. Platelets also contain growth factors and cytokines that repair damaged tissues.

What are the main purposes of using PRP?

skin rejuvenation
Accelerating wound healing
Preventing hair loss

What is the advantage of this method?

The most important advantage of its application is that it is obtained from the patient's own blood and does not carry the risk of allergy.

How is it applied?

A special separation process and a sterile closed kit are used to obtain plasma rich in platelets, leukocytes, growth factors and cytokines. In this way, autologous white blood cells (leukocytes) are separated. The platelet ratio in plasma is around 10 times normal. When autologous white blood cells and platelets are injected into the skin, they release growth factors in the area with a synergistic effect. Growth factors stimulate the production of hyaluronic acid and collagen. In this way, fine wrinkles are reduced, the skin's moisture balance increases and faster wound healing is achieved.

How long does it take to apply?

It is an application of approximately half an hour.

When will the effect be seen? Is it permanent?

The increase in moisture and radiance on the skin immediately after the first application is remarkable. Permanent effects begin to be seen after the second session. Considering that the natural aging process of the skin continues, it is recommended to have a cure every year for revision purposes.

Are there stem cells in it?

No. It is a method that stimulates the person's own autologous stem cells when injected into the body.

Is the application painful?

There is no need to even use local anesthetic. It can be used in very sensitive patients. No serious pain is felt.

Who can't it be done?

PRP application can be performed on everyone except patients with bleeding disorders.
