Laser Skin Pigmentation Treatment

Different types of skin blemishes may occur on our body, especially on our face, for various reasons and factors. Although these skin spots, which are darker and more visible than the normal skin color, do not threaten our lives, they cause some aesthetic and cosmetic problems, and may even cause some psychological disorders that can affect the social life of some people. That's why skin blemishes need to be treated.

Types of Skin Blemishes

Sunspots: Prolonged sun exposure without using sunscreen and sometimes sunspots can occur regardless of the duration. The skin becomes thicker in order to protect itself and melanin pigment production increases, thus increasing the formation of spots.

Pregnancy spots (Melasma): Although it is called pregnancy spots, it can also appear in men. Birth control pills, due to their hormonal structure and hormonal changes during pregnancy, stress, psychological factors, can cause excessive production of melanin pigment. Sharply defined spots may occur in areas such as cheeks, forehead and chin.

Freckles: These spots, which are seen most on the cheeks, nose, forehead and chin, where the sun is more effective, can be in the form of light or darker brown spots.

Fungal diseases: Some fungal infections and fungal diseases can cause spots on the skin.

Cafe au lait (cafeola) spots: These spots, which are milky brown in color, develop at birth or in early childhood. These spots, which can vary in size, may sometimes occur alone or may be a symptom of neurofibromatosis disease.

Allergic reactions: Some medications taken orally or some cream-like medications applied topically can cause hyperpigmentation. Sometimes they can cause mild redness and allergic reactions, while sometimes they can cause more severe reactions, regional blisters and local blemishes.
