Hand Rejuvenation

Factors such as heat, cold, sun, chemical agents and biological factors cause hands to wear out and age faster and earlier. Aging in the hands is evaluated in 2 ways;

Aging of the skin; drying, wrinkling and staining

Wrinkling, vascularization, and the appearance and prominence of bones due to subcutaneous volume loss.

If we have damaged hands, the treatments recommended to rejuvenate the hands are generally laser or moisturizing injection applications.

Laser Application for Hand Wrinkles and Stains

In the treatment of stains; Q-Switched Nd-YAG laser applications are the most effective methods. With a few sessions of treatment, hands are usually cleared of stains. Plexr or fractional laser applications may be recommended to reduce wrinkles.

When moisture is needed, pure hyaluronic acid injections (IAL System - Youth Vaccine) will be sufficient to achieve the intended result. This prompt can be applied to both the face, neck and hands.

If there is volume loss as well as wear and tear on the hands, then volumizing procedures should be implemented.

Bio-expander, filler and fat injections are the methods used in this regard. While fillers and bio expander procedures provide temporary volume gain, fat injection offers a permanent solution. However, the fact that fat injection is a surgery and the injection may not remain in this area is one of the difficulties of this procedure.

Among the procedures listed above, the procedure that gives the most natural results is the bio-expander application. After numbing the hands, bio-expander, a mixture of pure hyaluronic acid and cross-linked hyaluronic acid, is injected into the areas where volume is desired. There is no need for dressing after this procedure.
